research

The concept around the advertising of The Brighton Festival Appears to be cakes which seems to be quite an odd choice but is a nice quirky design idea. When it comes to audience the festival has to appeal to quite a wide demographic so the designs a fairly simple and not too strong. On the website they give vital details such as times and dates as the festival is spread over a number of weeks. They also have a piece of writing about every event to inform people what they are.

The NME Awards uses a kind of industrial fairground look running through there campaign its quite effective. The graphic design is also generally very well done. I think this look would really appeal to the NME’s rock audience. The event is a one night event different to the Brighton festival I mentioned earlier.
